Why do people think of emo as a bad thing?

emop is not bad. and not all emo cut themselfs! i'm emo and people at school and stuff are always giving me crap. so i write poetry and draw? who cares? is this the sick world we have created? that people judge you because you like poetry and you wear dark clothes, and eye liner and your hair is in your face? emo stands for emotional. not cuting your self! emotional people write poemtry alot and don't like bright colors... who cares? EVERYONE CARES! i'm so sick of all the emo jokes!

Why do people think of emo as a bad thing?

people think that emos cutting himself is emotional enough to hurt himself

Why do people think of emo as a bad thing?

Emotions unchecked are dangerous. Temper Tantrums etc..Being nice is not a bad thing unless you are becoming a doormat...do was Plato and Aristoltle and a few other people in history..they were just different.

Why do people think of emo as a bad thing?

Here we go again. Nobody hates you, nobody cares enough to hate you, we have our own problems to be getting on with. Nobody likes to listen to your constant whining about everyone hating you, that's the problem. Does emotional also mean "whining and self pitying?" Wait until you have some real problems, then you'll have something to bloody whinge about.

Why do people think of emo as a bad thing?

Emo is now a trendy thing.

Back in the day when it first started we didn't go around wearing eyeliner, we had our own style. You can do all sorts of things and still be Emo.

Emo has nothing to do with what your saying.

When you start talking about the style of your clothes and how your hair is in your face and wearing black eyeliner, then you really dont' understand Emo at all.

Since when was Fugazi emotional?

Who cares what the popular kids do, or if people make fun of you. If your happy doing your own thing that's what should matter.

But I'd recommend that you find some old LP's of emo music not this new crappy stuff they think is emo.
