so people have been calling me emo cause i dyed my hair black? then i dyed it brown. I have a couple questions. PLEASE answer them.

1. Are you friends with "emos"

2. Does emo really mean that you cut your self?

3. If i listen to heavy metal and pop and rock does it mean im emo?

4. Do lip piercings hurt? lol cause i want one.

5. Do people call you emo?

6. Do you hate emos?

7. Do you want to be cyber buddies (if your kinda emo) :]

well first of all i don't really like to stereotype people in to different catogaries.. however peopler like to dress and act is up to them but i know what your idea of emo is so i'l answer the questions...

1. yes i guess i am friends with a few. but they're not the slitting their wrists kind of emo..

2. no.. not neccisarily.

3. no of course not, everybody has a different taste in music, we shouldn'te be stereotyped by the music we listen to.

4. ha well i wouldn't know,.. i don't have one. but i'm guesing they do at first but it wouldn't hurt for too long to if you want one.. i'd get one. it'd be worth it.

First of all, "emo" to me is in conjunction with the music genre, which consists of bands such as Dashboard Confessional, Jack's Mannequin, etc.

You are not emo because you change your hair color frequently.

Hah.. that's pretty sad if some people think emo = black hair. I'm not emo so I'm not claiming to know everything about it but I agree with one girl on here that said it's mostly related to your type of music.. your attitude and your general style.
