So my friend/classmate said that she is emo she is putting her hair on the front . she is like "I want to be emo" kind of girl. I am not comfortable with her bragging and her emo acting what should i do?

If she's doing that then she isn't "emo." She is what is commonly known as a poser.

If I were you, I wouldn't worry about it. It's more than likely a phase and she'll get over it, or tell her that she isn't emo and see how she responds.

Emos don't deserve friends until they grow up and cheer up. Dump her to the curb with the rest of the trend slaves. She'll come around.

Quietly laugh at her (in your mind). You have to admit, anytime someone takes herself too seriously, it has the potential to be humorous.

Don't let her oddness, her "emo-ness", embarass you or make you feel uncomfortable! Goofballs are what make life interesting! She isn't hurting anyone, she's just taking a fad a little too far.

Take some pictures. In five years or so, you can tease her about it. You know, like ask her if she's still "emo" in front of a guy she likes. (Only do this if she can take a joke though.)

I agree with Nette. Most likely its a phase. You have to remember that and do what you can. I have an emo friend and she just recently stopped completely. It only lasted about a month or so.
