Emo????????????

i would like to get my hair cut in the 'emo' style [yes i am aware that emo is a genre of music but i dont know any other way to phrase the hairstyle i want] however, when i asked my hairstlyist for the 'emo' cut she was like, wtf, and i then described it as razor-cut with side bangs [as i was told to by another question on here] when it was cut it wasnt the exact style i wanted, but it wasnt bad either, so i just dealt with it. but now its time for me to get another haircut, and im wondering how do phrase it differently, possibly so that the hairstylist will understand better, or for a link to a picture i can print out to SHOW how it looks. thank you!

You can look for pictures on the internet and print them off to show your hair stylist what you want.That's what I did and she did it perfectly and exactly how I wanted it. Report It

your problem is that the hair cut your loooking for isnt a hair cut but a hair style. you simply cut it one way then style it to look "emo" yourself every morning. thers no actual "emo" cut.
