What should i do to weigh my hair down?

I am currently using a hair mask treatment. The saleslady told me that the product will weigh my hair down and at the same time, make it shinier and moisturized.

It did moisturize it and shined my hair but it did not weighed my hair down...

i wanted it to look straight... as in as straight as the hair of an emo punk...

what should i do? i don't want to straight it out with a hair gel or hair mouse or hair spray because i want it to move freely..

spray in conditioner or some other moisturizer and a straightening iron. spray the conditioner in when your hairs wet, then let it dry, then use a straightening iron. the heat will flatten/smooth it and it will also be easier to style it so it stays down. also, if you want yoru hair shiny, rinse it wiht cold water before you get out of the shower. it helps!
