A few questions about scene hair?

ok so im infinately bored with my long brown hair, i love it but i need more variety so iw as thinking scene hair (im not emo or anything) i just love some of the looks. could someone give me some pictures for some great long hair scene styles? and also, how would i ask for that at a hair salon? do i just give them the picture?is that awkward? is scene hair hard to care for? it always looks so perfect (:

tell them you want a lot of choppy layers at the top and middle of your head. give them a picture or two.. or three!

and tell them you want it thinned out at the bottom. or you dont even have to get it thinned out at the bottom but just to leave the bottom so its not that layered.

no its not awkward.

i didnt get mine done at a good salon. actually, it was a really crappy place. haha. it cost like 20 dollars... lmao. but yeah. its no more expensive than any other haircut.

and yea it is hard to care for...

you cant just leave it down without putting hairspray and styling it and all that stuff. it just looks really flat and bad. you have to spend a fair amount of time to style it and it must be straightened before you style it. if you want to see how you style it, go on youtube and look up like how to tease your hair, or how to get scene hair. etc. good luck.
