(19 male) well i like to have longer hair...more like that semi emo'ish look. but even when i use a straightener it doesnt totally straighten. am i doing something wrong? do i need to put something in it to keep it straight? my hair is naturally curly/wavy...and pretty thick...

You ll have to blow dry it straight first with a straightening product than go to town on it with the straightener(use a shine spray when dry before the hot iron it will protect it and get it a little straighter)
