Well I am kinda depressed,love the style and the music so i want to be emo...but I have natural blond hair and I don't want to color it + my mum....I'm 14...I have some emo clothes...that I really like and I will be wearing them...but pls tell me what do they reall wear...and my hair...can it stay blond...ohh and another thing...I kinda want to pierce my lip ...but I don't have money to do that and my parents won'tgive me money...so I have some medical needle cuzz my mum is a doctor...so can i do it.?:'(

youre asking to many questions to be emo. emo is not something you become its something you are. but to answer your question. do what you like think accessories like fun knee socks and belts. try something new that way people are less likely to call you a poser, cuz they will. skinny jeans area must lots of black mixed with some bright colors, becareful not to look likea scene kid, thats scary, try little things like black nailpolish and cool eye makeup to start out. about your hair emo kids dont care if thery wanna dye there hair they will, most parents arent happy with it but that doesnt stop anybody. try getting it cut really cool or brushing it over half your face. yes you can deffinately pierce your own lip plenty of my friends have done so, just plan carefully before you go jamming a needle through there.

Your mom is a doctor. Not a piercer. That's stupid to let someone pierce you other than a professional piercer.

Wear what you want. If you want your hair to be blonde, keep it. Buy the clothes that you like. Shop around. And don't stick to one label. I swear, the way I dress one day could be labeled like modern day hippie...and then the next day I could look "preppy". Just wear what you like and stop worrying about labels.

And if you are depressed, I suggest seeking out therapy. Depression sucks and the longer you deal with it the more it sucks. So, get yourself help in the beginning stages.

well, i feel that people shouldn't want to fit into a category and should be individuals. but yes you can pierce your lip on your own... but make sure you sterilize the needle. but it is going to hurt a lot more then it would if you got it professionally done.

okay most emos i no cut themselves and hate the world and my cousin who peirced their lip got infected and had to be hospitalized you shouldn't label yourself anyway as an emo just dress the way you like and just as a warning most people are scared of emos so be prepared for the haters

i really don't think you should go as far as to dying your hair, piercings, hating the world, cutting yourself ect. But if you like the clothes and the muisc go for that but don't become really emo

just be yourself, don't label yourself. If you don't want to dye your blonde hair then don't. Wear your "emo" clothes, keep the blond hair but DO NOT pierce your lip yourself. Very dangerous.

okay, well here's the thing. my friend is emo, and she just dresses in dark wash jeans (like black, gray) and wears a lot of band shirts like mcr and chiodos. please dont dye your hair though! my friend died part of her blonde hair BRIGHT RED!! and she looked much better before. i have nothing against emo people, but if you want to get your lip pierced, make sure it's done professionally. not your moms needle. Dont think just because your depressed, you have to listen to emo music, dye your hair, and pierce your lip. be whoever you want to be, and dont let friends make up who you are. sorry if i sound like a mom (im really not, im 15!) but dont kill yourself, or cut yourself. it wont change anything.
