And stop trying to be Emo??? Emo isn't something that you can try to be...it is something that you are. So all you high school girls quit trying to be someone that your not. and to everyone else please stop using the word Emo it drives me nuts, you all have no idea what Emo even is. Anyone with their hair combed to the side is considered Emo nowadays I'm sorry but that does not make you Emo. And being Emo does not make you cool or popular it makes you look stupid because you are trying to be like everyone else obvisouly.

All these happy little girls pretending to be sad and upset to be cool when really they have nothing to even be sad about! Just quit it please! Be kids, live your life and be yourself!!! Being unique makes you cool. Being yourself makes you cool. And being happy will make people like you. So there. End it. Kill it. Stomp it whatever you need to do just stop using the word Emo and go back to living your lives.

Well im just annoyed at how people use the word "Emo" so freely. (Like calling things/people "Emo"...even when they aren't even remotely "Emo")

Or when some ignorant people think that if someone wears black clothes or paints their nails black that they automatically cut themselves or are Emo. Ugh..stereo-types. :P

Besides....Emo is a genre of music...so..yeah..they're using the term incorrectly. :P

emo makes people look dumb. if they look emo, then its more certain that they are. if you are emo, i feel kinda sad for you and at the same time a little scard. people that are not emo dont try to be, i mean, its kinda like teenagers suffering depression. who wants that?

Exactly what I think..."emo" is a state of mind, not a statement.

emo stands for emotional (most people didnt know that).

when people are depressed (usually teens), majority of them slit there wrist, because they hate life.

if you live in melbourne like me, go to the city and you see a whole bunch of them. besides that, if you are worried as an "emo", or are a worried parent, dont worry, they will eventually grow out of being emotional. i will guarantee, talking will only make things worse, so just support there issue, without taking it overboard.

like if my friend is really angry over something stupid, and is huddling in a corner, i'll say "stop being so emo! haha!"
