Ok so i have realy frizzy brown hair and i need a new look i mean hair wise i need some emo punkish ideas if anyone has any

My friend had short frizzy, mouse-brown hair and she used to have it cut kinda round, like a ball I guess, just even all the way around. Then she had some pieces in the front that reached her chin and short bangs. She had the back colored black and the front was either bleached or pink. It was very cute and looked really good on her. It's hard to describe but she could style the back with just some gel or hairspray and it would be sorta curly, not messy or frizzy. And it looked punkish. Then the pieces in the front framed her face so it wasn't like she had short round hair.

I guess it would be like pulling down the front hair line, to the ears on each side, then cutting the rest of the hair evenly, about 3 inchs or so. Then the front was split into three sections, the bangs cut short, and then the long pieces on each side. Does that make sense? I just mean it wasn't like those cuts, like a V, short in the back and longer in the front. The back was all short and cut 3 inches long all the way around. The front long pieces were just like long bangs. Anyhow it was real cute and worked really well with her hair texture. She would just scrunch it up and then straighten her bangs and the long pieces.
