Oh my Godddddddddddd! You have GOT to be

the most arrogant poser on the face on the earth.

You've stooped so low. People like you make

scene kids look bad. Just forget the whole scene

idea, everyone can you tell you're going to make

a complete fool of yourself.

I hate to say it but I must. You're extremely ignorant. You're trying to fit in to the new trends. If you like something, wear it. You don't have to try to go in with what other people are doing. Be yourself. It's disgusting what people are doing, everyone tries to be the same. Just be you.

it depends how old you are! I am emo and all i did was when we went shopping i bought black clothes.Tell them that i need to make decishions when i get older and i think the haircut epress me.When you were small you might want to express y our self in a way and this is how i do.Tell them you are concerd with your looks and you want to feel happy about the way you look!

If you really like the scene then you can find ways to incorporate it into your style. Before emo came around it was goth. That was my genre when I was younger. My parents would flip out whenever I wore anything ripped, black or spiked. I guess they eventually realized that it wasn't just a thing with me and that I really did like the style. They gave up and I dressed the way I wanted ever since.

If you're in middle school, then it sounds more like you're just going through a phase. I admit I'm not scene as far as I know, so sorry if I'm getting anything wrong here. But I did go through the same type of thing in 6th and 7th grade with skating (on a board), since most of my friends had been doing it. I wore the clothes, skated for a while, quit, and got called a poser by one or two of the more hardcore skaters. I'd carry around and look at a CCS catalog in class most of the time, and because of that, I missed out on alot of stuff that showed up in tests, and that brought my grades down pretty hard.

I know I've been rambling around with this answer, but my point is that, and no offense here, you probably won't go anywhere with that. Most people finish up and donate everything Scene to Goodwill after 7th and 8th grade. You'll be left with a few of the more hardcore kids, and depending on whether you change or not, you could end up left out socially. Again, I'm going to sound odd when I say this, but you have to ask yourself if this'll help or hurt you later on in life. If it'll help, or won't have too much impact, then go ahead and do it. But with people's natural prejudices based on looks, you'll want to seriously look at what you do.

If you do choose that you want to, just keep asking your parents. Don't stop, and they'll eventually give in. If they don't, then try a compromise. You should be able to think of something.
