i have thin-ish hair, pass my shoulders around bout 6 inches. i want to know how to volumize my hair in a sexy, sophistcated way + please suggest good hair products or how to make my hair look emo-ish, in a stylish way

Spray volumizing spray or foam (Rootboost, Volumizing Tonic, BloFoam) in the root area of your hair evenly. Comb the product through to distribute it. Turn your head over, upside down and dry while lifting the hair up from the root area with your fingers. Dry it 90% this way and finish by smoothing with a brush then styling as you normally would. For extra lift you can sprinkle Bumble and Bumble hair powder in the root area. Finish with an "super or extra" hold finishing spray to keep it in place.

You need a texturizing cream, but you need to start with a good shampoo and conditioner. You want something either clarifying (to get past product off, because that only weighs your hair down) or volumizing, and often times they do both. There is styling gel meant specifically for volume also.

I could recommend products but there's too many and they all honestly work pretty well. Look in Sephora, you can't go wrong there.

I have really thin flat hair too. I use sun silk volumizing shampoo and conditioner. Then I use the 24/7 creme and blowdry my head up side down sometimes i use aussie real volume moose too. If your hair is dry and you want lots of volume, brush it upside down until its flat in the back
