Blue highlights on blonde hair?

well, i have natural blonde hair, and its not white blond nor dark blonde. i have emo style hair and my parents won't let me put highlights in until im older. any ideas on how i can persuade them? also, would i look good if i had light blue hair under a bit of hair in my fringe??

If you think that you are at a suitable age to dye/highlight your hair, talk to your parents about it. Say what good it can bring and all the other things. But if they still disagree with you, just wait a while and then they might think that you've matured and may consider letting you change your hair.

I think that blue's a really cool colour, but if you've never highlighted your hair before, maybe choose something more subtle first. And then later you can go more explicit.

i used to have this, sortve a hairgel? i think it was made by the fudge brand. anyway im sure you could get something similar.

i had red, but it came in different colours too.

all you need to do is put some on the hair that you want coloured and then comb it thru to get rid of the tangles and stuff.

then when ur done it just washes out.

They have thinning shears, I have to use them on my thick head of hair too. They look like regular scissors but one blade is regular and the other looks like a comb. You should probably get it done professionally the first time because they can show you what areas to thin that work best for you.

well my hair is already very thin, and it isn't very great. I know that I can't make my hair thicker, but what makes my hair thinner are shampoos such as garnier fructose shampoo, and it makes my hair look and feel as fine as kitty hair, it is so awkward!

I'm Not 'Emo', But What You Need To Get The Wispy, Layered Look Is A Razor, This Thing You Comb Through, And It Gradually Takes Off Hair, I Don't Know How You Would Get One, But Maybe Go To The Haircutting Shop, And Ask To See What It Looks Like, Or Show Them The Picture, And Try Your Best To Describe It, I'm Sure They Could Help A Lot Better Than People On The Internet Can.

I'm scene and I cut my own hair, and it always comes out good. For that kind of hair cut you should cut your hair in a diagonal direction and pin up the hair that your not cutting when your cutting the layers. Make sure to make it really choppy and don't worry if the cuts come out uneven, scene/emo hairstyles are always uneven. The straighten it ALOT. Your straightener will become your new best friend.
